The Berean Baptist Youth Department is hosting a T-Shirt Fundraiser!
For the last two years, The Berean Baptist Youth Department has attended the Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds in Occidental, CA. With the assistance of the camp staff/facilities/grounds, we have been able to host our very own ”Berean Church Camp.”
Our Berean Baptist teachers, parents, and college students provide activities, devotions, preaching, supervision, and even transportation throughout the week. This serves as a wonderful week of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth for our young people that is set apart from the worldly distractions that we face each and everyday. We believe that our camp proves to be not only a highlight of our year, but an integral part of our ministry.
Due to the current economic environment and the continual rise in camp costs, often times, this week is not a financial possibility for some students and a struggle for others. This makes fundraising a must. We ask for your support in purchasing a t-shirt to help all of our students have the opportunity to attend camp this year.
Thank you so much for your ongoing love and support!
T-Shirts must be picked up locally at Berean Baptist Church and are only available for order through 2/22/2015. Please contact Jared with any questions.

Ready, Set, Go! On February 21, 2015, the BBC Youth Dept will be hosting our 2nd annual AMAZING RACE competition. We had so much fun last year that we thought we’d just do it again!
Students will set out in teams (accompanied by an adult) to find clues, solve puzzles, and gather random objects from all over Rohnert Park in order to earn prizes and meet checkpoints. And even though the race is almost 4 hours long, last year’s top 3 teams all finished literally within seconds of each other! It really was an Amazing Race!
This event is open to all students grades 6-12. Please signup in the church lobby by February 14, 2015 and contact Jared with any questions.
Also, attention all CHURCH MEMBERS: You can be part of our race! If you live in Rohnert Park and would like a quick visit from us the day of the event, we would love to briefly swing by and say “hello!” and it would be a really big help to us as well.
Please contact Jared if you’d like to help us out and take part in our race!
Pt Reyes Hike 5/19/2012
The Youth Dept. headed out to Pt Reyes this morning for a beautiful hike along the Bear Valley Trail out to Arch Rock and back. The total distance of the trip is just a little over 8 miles roundtrip and we absolutely had a blast!
Around the one mile mark, we decided that we would split the groups up into two. The first group was lead by two adults that would stay the course out to Arch Rock on the main trail. The second group would take a longer and a somewhat more ambitious route up to the highest point in the park and then back down again to meet up with the others at Arch Rock for lunch.
After lunch, we would eventually all make the return trip together as one group with some having hiked a whopping 8 miles and even 13 miles for the others.
Needless to say, we were all VERY tired when we finally returned back to the visitor center.
Within the first 10 minutes of the drive back home, the three girls in my car were already asleep on each other in the back seat…obviously a sign of a “good hike!”
I would especially like to thank the adults that volunteered and sacrificed their time and “legs” to make this trip possible! Thank You!
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
